When you think of wargames and wargaming in desert and arid areas the possibilities are huge. From small skirmishes in the Gulf War and the Afghan Wars to full scale battles.
You could be leading a British Infantry patrol in Northern Afghanistan or lining up your 15mm or 28mm Sassanid Persians to repel the Late Imperial Roman invaders.
But don't forget all those great skirmish games to be had as well. I have used this Modular Desert Terrain system for some great games using Sharp Practice. Set in the Spanish Peninsula during the Napoleonic Wars there I played fellow club member Andy in some 28mm games (Add photos here). Being able to recreate some of the drier areas and using a Starter Set and Desert Scatter it provided a flexible area to move troops through without blocking them. The gaming table look fabulous.
Well I have taken the principle of our Jungle and Bamboo Jungle systems and used it for the Desert wargames terrain as well.
You can choose how much you need for your wargaming table.
The core is the Starter Set providing 5 very hard wearing bases, enhanced with dried grass plants and grit to suit most theatres from the Spanish Ulcer to North Africa, Japan, Badlands, Warhammer 40K Desert Worlds and parts of Asia.
You can spread the bases out as far or as close as you need for your games.
Fill in gaps/small areas or expand with a Desert Scatter set or two makes for a really simple, easy way to expand you terrain on table.
If you want something extra then our Medium and Large pieces give you that option, as well.
All sealed, textured and realistic usable foliage
