HMS Centaur was a 74-gun Mars Class, third-rate ship of the line built in Woolwich Dockyard.
Launched in 1797 she saw considerable service in the West Indies, joining Nelson's force in 1805. But unfortunately was very badly damaged in a hurricane off Jamaica.
Due to this damage she missed Trafalgar. But is perfect for general actions.
